During this closing we intend to make some repairs to the building, re-install the exhibits on the lower level, and make some changes in the exhibits on the main level of the Museum to make them more informative about the history and culture of the Town and surrounding area.  We hope that those of you who visited the Museum this summer enjoyed the new installation and will return next year to see the changes we will have made.

STM passes both articles unanimously in record time.

Sep
22

The STM was held last night and both articles passed unanimously, with no debate. The meeting was started at 7PM and the meeting was adjourned at 7:05PM.

The first article approved spending almost $74,000 of money from the CPA funds to redo the heating and ventilation system in the town hall, the second article was to transfer almost $6K from the Stabilization account to the Hampshire Regional Assessment account to make up a budgeting shortfall. A lower amount had been approved at the ATM, but since a majority of the other towns in the region voted a higher budget amount, Goshen is required to fund the higher amount as well.
