The Housing Rehabilitation Program of the HilltownCDC provides eligible homeowners with deferred payment loans in order to address code violations and improve living conditions for low-and moderate-income households.  A wide range of repairs are eligible including lead paint abatement, septic system repair, roof replacement and more.  Program benefits include no interest/no monthly payment on loans that may be completely forgiven, and the benefit of assistance with project specs, project oversight, and contractor selection assistance. Please note that all Foothills Towns require the inspection to be witnessed by the Health Agent. Scheduling with the Agent is done through the inspector. Homeowners should contact an inspector, who will arrange an inspection date with the Agent. A witness fee of $50., paid by check to the Town is required on the day of the inspection.
